Flash Samsung Stock Rom Using Odin Downloader Tool

Here in this article we will learn how to flash Samsung Stock Firmware (Stock Rom) using the Odin Downloader Application in Windows Computer. Some Samsung Stock Roms have 4 files that are flashed in another way. So read the article to the end to know about it in detail.

How To Flash Samsung Stock Rom Using Odin Downloader Tool?

Step 1: First of all you have to install Samsung’s official USB driver on your computer. If you want to download a Samsung USB driver, then fallow down the Download Button below (if your computer already has the Samsung USB Driver Install, then you have to install USB Driver Install Do not need to be done).

Step 2: Once the USB Driver is installed, Extract the Odin Downloader downloaded on your computer (if you already have Odin Downloader on your computer, you can skip this step).

Step 3: Next, download Samsung Stock Firmware (Stock Rom) in your computer and extract it into one of the folders when you extract, then you will get some kind of file. (File name will be according to your Samsung Device Model, as you can see in the photo below).

Step 4: After extracting Firmware (Stock Rom), Power off your Samsung phone.

Step 5: When your Samsung phone is completely off, you have to boot in Phone Odin Mode (Downloding Mode). To boot into Odin Mode, press the Power button + Volume Down + Home Key simultaneously for 10 Seconds. As soon as the Boot Animation Show leaves all the buttons.

Step 6: When your Phone is Boot in Odin mode (Download Mode), you will first have a Warning Massage Show which you will need to press Volume Up Button to continue.

Step 7: Next you have to open the Odin Downloader that you downloaded in # Step 2 and extract it to your computer.

Step 8: When your odin Downloader launches, you have to connect your samsung phone to the computer via the original USB cable.

Step 9: When your phone is connected to the computer, odin will automatically detect your phone. If you are not showing added in the log area of odin, you may have not installed samsung usb driver correctly on your computer.

Step 10: Next you have to click on the AP button and after clicking on the AP button you have to select the firmware of the phone from the folder that you extracted your Stock Firmware into the computer in Step #2.

Step 11: When your flashing files are selected, you have to start the flashing process by clicking the Start button and waiting for 10 – 15 minutes.

Step 12: After starting the flashing process, you will have to wait some time when your flashing process is completed, then you will have a green pass massage show in the top of the Odin Downloader. Now you have to disconnect your phone from the computer.

Step 13: When your phone is completely flash, it may be stuck in the boot loop so that your phone will be repeated and off. So to correct this, you have to boot the phone in Recovery Mode. To boot into the recovery mode, you have to press the phone’s power button, Volume up button and home key together when all the buttons are left when the boot logo is visible. And then in the recovery mode, select the wipe data/factory reset option with the help of the volume down button.

Once you have selected the Wipe Data / Factory Reset Option, you can then wipe the phone by pressing the power button.

Step 14: When the data of your samsung phone gets wiped, then to reboot the phone, with the help of the volume button, press the power button to select the reboot system now and your phone will normally be turned on in some time.
